Chrome Themes is built to leave your data alone. This page explains, in plain words, what little we collect and why.

Who is responsible

extensioncreator01 (Russia) is the controller of the data described here. You can reach us at extensioncreator01@gmail.com.

What the extension does with your browsing

• It adds a style sheet (a background picture) to the web pages you open. That is all it does on those pages.
• It does not read, copy, store or send the content of your pages, your browsing history, your passwords or anything you type.
• It does not run scripts on your pages, and it has no analytics or advertising trackers.

What we store, and where

On your device only (free use). The theme you chose and a few settings are saved in Chrome's extension storage. If you only use the free themes, nothing is sent to us.

If you buy or restore Pro. We handle:

• the email address you enter when you upgrade or restore access;
• your subscription status: your plan, whether it is active, the end of the paid period and the subscription and payment identifiers from our payment provider;
• the dates of these events.

This information is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare. We never see or store your card number: payment details are entered on the payment provider's page.

This website. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and to protect against abuse.

Why we use it

We use your email and subscription data only to provide Pro: to confirm that you have paid, to unlock Pro in the extension, to restore access on another computer and to answer your support requests. Where the law of your country requires a legal basis, it is performing our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and abuse. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who receives it

• Lava.top, our payment provider, processes your payment and sends us the result (including your email address and payment status). See its own privacy policy for how it handles your data.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and our small payment server and database.
• Authorities, if we are legally required to share information. We do not share data with anyone else.

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We rely on their standard safeguards for those transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep your email and subscription records while your subscription is active and for up to 12 months afterwards, so that we can help you if you come back or contact us. Payment records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it. After that, the data is deleted. If you only use the free themes, we hold no data about you.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or hand it over in a common format. If you live in the EU, the UK or another region with data protection law, you also have the right to object to our use of your data and to complain to your local data protection authority.

To delete your data, email extensioncreator01@gmail.comfrom the address you used when paying. We will confirm once it is done. Removing the extension from Chrome deletes everything stored on your device.

Children

Chrome Themes is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change affects how we use your data, we will tell you in the extension or by email.
